Wow, the last time I wrote in here it was 3 years ago! Life has changed a lot but I'm really exploring myself as a person right now. I am working on accepting my flaws and talents for what they are. I'm learning to accept that I don't need to be the best to be good, great or even amazing at something. I don't need to be the best at everything or be right all the time. It's okay to make mistakes. But I'm also holding myself to a higher standard of being. I want to be more tolerant of people who think differently than I do. I have an art Instagram. I'm going to post my doodles here too. I just finished updating my profile because I filled that out when I was in high school and holy moly some of those things did not age well. I've been out of high school for 8 years now. Since then, I've graduated college, I got a job in my field and I moved across the country. It's funny because when I graduated high school I was sure I wanted to be a psychologist in the East Coast. I wanted to live in New York City or Boston. Now I'm an engineer that lives near L.A. and I really wish I could go back to Texas. I love my job but California is so expensive.

So it's been almost three years since my last journal entry. Wow. Reading the things I wrote back then is so cringy. I'll probably cringe at cringing while still being so cringy right now. It's part of growing up kids. I don't really have any updates other than I'm almost going to graduate college. I still need to find a job but hopefully, that will come soon enough. AS for my "art" I'll keep uploading my doodles and my fresh paint drawings once in a while like always.
